Ship Description[]
A full ship designed especially for chasing and engaging merchant vessels. Privateer trades hull toughness for speed and armament. It commonly carries short-range carronades and relies to its speed for quickly enter favorable battle distance without heavy casualties. Some more wary captains prefer 18-pound Bastard Veldslangs instead of carronades, and use Privateer's good maneuverability for staying near the maximum firing range from the target.
